Mummy in Melbourne!

I'm typing this on my bed. It's the last day of mummy in Melbourne and she has roughly another 3 hours left here with me before the shuttle picks her and I last see her face :(

It has been a good 9 days of mummy in Melbourne. Can't believe one week has gone by so fast. Time really flies *sigh*

DAY #1
Mummy arrived on Saturday morning, and she told me she'll meet me in Melbourne Central but wasn't sure of the time. Went to the gym first while waiting for her, then met her and brought her back to leave her stuff.

Went out right after cause we had reservations for yumcha at Gold Leaf, Docklands. Had the best catch up with mummy, two months of updates in one meal. Spent the rest of the afternoon touring the city, then went home to rest, and then E Night in church.

DAY #2
Road trip! The most touristy day we'll ever have.

Great Ocean Road tour; seperate blog post with pictures soon! :)

DAY #3
It was a super lazy day cause the weather decided to sabo us :( Went to uni first thing in the morning cause I had to go to the bank, and mummy wanted to see Melbourne Uni. Went for brunch at Seven Seeds after that :) Spent the rest of the afternoon at home cause I had to study, so mummy entertained herself with drama while hibernating from the crazy weather.

Had training later in the afternoon so I took mummy to the gym also LOL. We need the exercise from all the eating we've been doing mannn. HAHA! Came home and cooked dinner and spent the rest of the night watching drama.

DAY #4
Woke up early to go to Queen Victoria Market cause mummy insisted on going there (like a true aunty HAHAHA) Walked there the whole morning, then went for brunch again at Cafe Victoria.

Spent most of the afternoon at home again cause it was still super cold. Headed out after that and took a walk to Southbank to visit Crown, then went to the Eureka Skydeck after.

The view all the way from the 88th floor (:

Went to the gym after that for Body Combat, then out in the city for dinner.

DAY #5
Mummy's birthday/Beach day!
Thank goodness the weather finally changed and was brighter so we could go out.

[Refer to previous post]

DAY #6
Took a train down to Glen Waverley to meet my aunty around lunch time. She picked us up from the station, then went for yumcha. I think it's always a typical thing to go for yumcha for every meet up :D HAHA. Spent the rest of the day out, then went back to her house to help her cook dinner with the kids. Aunty took us out for dessert after, then went back to her place and mummy and I stayed over for a night.

DAY #7
Had to wake up early cause aunty had to go to work, so we had breakfast in her place, then she dropped mummy and I at the Springvale station and we took a train back to the city. The stupid weather went back to being cold and miserable so we spent the rest of the day at home. I tried to study for a bit but failed and ended up hibernating the whole afternoon. Such a pig :(

DAY #8
It was Sports Day! Went for a short while so I left mummy to wander on her own in the morning/afternoon. The weather was really bad, but I still enjoyed it. Met a few new people, and played under the sun/wind/rain (oh Melbourne, you really do have four seasons in a day!) It was suppose to go on all the way till 3pm but I left early and went home as soon as mummy texted me she's back cause she took my keys out to explore.

Spent most of the afternoon with mummy at home, then went out for dinner in the city and then for last minute shopping for things she needs to bring back home. Went home with mummy and she wanted to continue watching her drama, so after she settled down I went out again later at night for Jon's birthday as well as catch up with the Alabasters ❤ IT'S BEEN SO LONG! Didn't realise how much I missed them till last night :( *sigh* Everytime I can only hear of their news from my housemate but never see them.

Anyway, by the time I reached the restaurant they were done with dinner, so we headed back to Uropa to cut cake, and then played Celebrities! SUPER FUN :D:D HAHA. Got to love nights like these~ of board games and great company (: We finished really late, but luckily I had Wei Ling to walk back with. Mummy was already sleeping by then, so I just went to bed straight away too.

DAY #9
Woke up early to go to church with homie and mummy.
We didn't have anything in particular to do for the rest of the day so we decided to go to Richmond for a change. Took a tram down and for the first time this trip, mummy encountered a tram inspector right as we were getting off at our stop at Victoria Gardens. "First time I'm taking a 'paid' tram and I get checked for a ticket!" HAHHA! And I was holding her ticket for her, so when I saw the officers I had to stop her for a while to give her the ticket. She can even ask me "who do I show this to? Must I show everytime?" I think she would blindly walk away without knowing if I didn't stop her -___-

Walked around Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, and mummy finally bought her shoes! She didn't buy any for me, pffft. Was so tempted to get myself, but I'm learning how to resist temptation *sadgirl93* ;(

Finally went to Ikea after so long of being in Melbourne! I always think Ikea's the happiest place in the world :D Mummy even said we shall go back to Ikea in Malaysia again when I'm back HAHAHA. Had lunch there, then headed back home to do laundry and pack before mummy leaves tonight ;(

xx

Mummy dearest, thanks for the best week of my life.
Thank you for loving me, pampering me, and fattening me up in just one week! I'm gonna miss your company, and nights with you :(

See you in 4 months!
