JANUARY;
Worked, spent some time catching up with college friends, and sent KC off to UK
FEBRUARY;
Chopped my hair after saying I won't for the next 5 years. Then it was back to Melbourne, new change, new environment.
MARCH;
Learning to be independent, settling in, trying to find my comfort zone. Probably one of the toughest periods but I managed to pull through. Thank God for neighbours like Tea and Esther, I don't think I'd be able to survive this year if it wasn't for them helping me out at the beginning (':
APRIL; 2 highlights that month
#1 Easter camp. Met plenty of amazing people and it was really an experience camping in the freezing cold, hehh.
#2- Joined the gym. More importantly, started training (':
Best decision ever, and definitely a life-changing event. I'd never thought it would be such a huge impact to me, but training was definitely one of my biggest highlights of the year ❤ Mhmm, I may just do a seperate entry on this, heee.
MAY;
My birthday! Turned 19, no biggie. Didn't have anything fancy, but I'm lucky to have friends that make an effort to make my day even if it's in the smallest form. I appreciate it even if it's a simple thought x
JUNE;
Winter break, reunited with my special friends after one year of them being away. Three weeks back home, and time went by too quickly!
JULY;
Moved in with Wei Ling ❤ I think also another highlight and life-changing event (: I'm so lucky to have a housemate like her, probably another reason why I loved my second semester so much. It was always comforting to know there's someone at home even if you just wanna be alone it your room, or that someone is back to greet you after a hectic day ending Tax Law at 6.15pm.
AUGUST;
Merdeka countdown, and catching up with people x
SEPTEMBER;
Spring break aka mama in Melbourne! :D
OCTOBER;
BFF's 20th birthday! :D Whole month planning her birthday and thinking of what to do for someone miles away. I can't remember anything else that month except for that LOL.
NOVEMBER;
Craziest, yet one of the most memorable month. Studying, exams, mourning of finance papers, late nights in the library, post-exams madness, Uropa playtimes, roadtrip, shopping, eating, and everything under the sun x
DECEMBER;
Jen's 21st birthday (technically last day of November, but till the first of December!), and then back to Malaysia. 1st December, the first and best day that month (:
x
And there goes my 2012 in a nutshell.
It's been the most amazing year ever. I learned to laugh, cry, and most importantly, I learned to live.
I've had several achievements, but of course I've had many failures too. I came across new people that I believe each taught me a lesson and is put in my life for a reason. The same way, I've also lost a few friends that still saddens me up till today, but I believe everything happens for a reason and being without them is just going to make me a stronger person.
This year has been so good and I'm extremely lucky.
2013, please learn from the past and be kind to me.
For the new year, I'm going to learn how to be a nicer person to others and more importantly myself, be more forgiving, remind myself that God is the bigger person in control of me, and love myself like I deserve to.
I hope you all had an amazing year and look forward to a new one.
Blessed New Year everyone!
