Thunder Three

Three things I'm thankful for the past three days

#1 My dear housemate

Now you know why we're perfect together LOL!
I'm honestly so glad to have her.

The past few day's I've been feeling a little .. out of place? I don't even know how to describe what I feel *le sigh D:

But anyway, it was just comforting to know that there's someone around. Spent the whole of Friday studying at home. And even though Wei Ling and I were in our own rooms doing our own things, I just felt a little more at peace that I'm not alone. I think I even probably felt a little more motivated to study also HAHA!

Also had combined cell with her yesterday so we went out together and both groups ended up having dinner together, and it's been a while since I've been out with everyone. The whole semester I've usually been going home alone after cell and rarely staying on for dinner, but yesterday it felt good seeing everyone again and especially the Alabasters that I've not spoken to for the longest time. Plus, walking home with Wei Ling and the 'talks' along the way make things even better (:

#2 My crazhi friend

Have started getting back to Skype sessions with her this week, and now I have something to look forward to everyday! Well we don't Skype everyday, but just the hope of possibility of being able to do so brings a smile to my face all the time thinking about it :)

Even though we've been tweeting and whatsapp-ing and viber-ing the past few months, I guess hearing her voice and verbally being able to tell her about my day just makes me feel better. And probably bawling out all my rants and worries to her makes me feel a better too knowing that someone is always there for me even when I'm at my worst and will still be there if I end up a failure in life (don't ffk me please!) *sappy*

Also, specifically on Friday I promised her "I'm going to study today" and I kept my word! Good friends are those that result in good motivation to study :D The night before we were planning a Skype date while she was bored in uni and I scolded her "don't talk to me I need to study!" but the moment she said she'll be home in two hours, I got even more serious "omg! OK see you in two hours, time to study!" LOL.

Seriously, this semester hasn't been easy for me and I'm glad I can finally have someone to pour out to and count on. Thanks love! No one can replace you as my toilet bowl, hehh :')

Five years.
Look at how much we've changed.

From short hair to long hair then back to short hair, learning how to make up and look pretty, dressing up, travelling together, from spectacles to contact lenses, suffering on public transport to being able to drive, we did so much together and watched each other grow up! x

#3 Technology

Oh, this I'm so thankful for! Seriously, I don't know how my life would be without technology in this era now.

Anyway, reason being this is that recently I've been re-connecting with a few friends that I've not spoken to in a while and thank goodness for technology! Have been talking to a few high school friends that are all over the world now, and also some college friends that are in different countries and some back home. I just am glad to keep connected with people and not lose touch (:

x

I guess no matter how shit life gets, there's always something reminding you of how you can be thankful for.

Much love, xo
