They say 'what you don't know won't kill you'. Is it true that people can go on living their lives full of lies and deceit? Is it wrong to see someone so happy but knowing that they don't know the truth? It's upsetting that people now are so plastic and fake. Why can't everyone just be more transparent? Wouldn't it be better if everyone just come clean? No lies, no hurt.
Everything would be so much better if everyone just told the truth. I know 'the truth hurts', yes it really does. But I'd rather be hurt by the truth than to be lied to forever. And what's worse is having to find out the truth after being lied to. Doesn't that hurt even more?
Sometimes, no matter how much you accept the truth, there's still a little pain behind the acceptance. A little denial, a little hurt, maybe .. a little tear.
